In many other fields, people with any degree or diploma can apply to a job. For example, everyone having a degree/diploma (starting from arts to economics to nursing degree!) can apply for a clerk job.

But nursing related positions requires a specific qualification ie a nursing degree/diploma. There is no shortage of nurses in Indian job market but still compared to number of people applying for a generic job like clerk or administrator, there is scope of getting a secure job in public/Govt. sector.
